Who are we ?
The Ocean Acidification and Other Ocean Changes – Impacts and Solutions (OACIS) initiative was created in 2013 to study the effects of climate change on the ocean – such as acidification – as well as potential solutions that could mitigate these effects.
OACIS brings together the following organizations: the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Government of Monaco, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Marine Environment Laboratories, the Monaco Scientific Centre, the Oceanographic Institute–Prince Albert I of Monaco Foundation, the Villefranche-sur-Mer Oceanographic Institute, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI).
